Jason Batts, J.D.
Jason Batts earned his bachelors degree in history from Morehead State University and his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. Batts served in the Army Reserve as a Judge Advocate until 2020, when he transferred to the Air Force Reserve. In 2015 Batts was elected county prosecutor for Hickman County, Kentucky.
Jennifer A Crane, J.D.
Jenn Crane is a trusts and estates attorney whose work sits at the crossroads of health care law, elder law, and fiduciary practice. Jenn serves as an adjunct professor at William & Mary Law School and as a Fiduciary Officer and Wealth Strategist for a national trust company, she guides families, fiduciaries, and institutions through complex planning decisions.
Judah Jay Goss, J.D.
Judah Jay Gross teaches Banking Law and Leveraged Finance at William & Mary Law School where he brings over 10 years of experience as an attorney and credit analyst in the financial sector. Judah Jay graduated magna cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law as a member of the Order of the Coif.
Iria Giuffrida, Ph.D, LL.M.
Iria Giuffrida is a professor of the practice of Law at William & Mary Law School. She now serves as the assistant dean for Academic & Faculty Affairs focusing on adjunct faculty matters and academic components of the Law School’s online and executive education programs.
Chris Gottfried, J.D., MBA
Chris Gottfried is an instructor of finance at William & Mary’s Mason School of Business and faculty director of the corporate compliance program at the William & Mary Law School. He has over 15 years of experience in finance and law as a banker, attorney and consultant.
Mason Lowe, J.D.
Mason E. Lowe is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. Before law school, he earned an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Mississippi and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
Krystal Norton, J.D.
Norton received her Juris Doctor from Loyola New Orleans College of Law in 2013. At Loyola, Ms. Norton was a Crowe Scholar, a published law review member, and Chairman of the Moot Court Board. She is currently barred in New York and New Jersey.
Roger Pao, J.D.
Roger Pao, JD, is an attorney and educator with extensive experience in online education and an interest in dynamic, innovative pedagogies. A graduate of Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, and Duke University, summa cum laude, he has served as a subject matter expert for and taught a variety of online law and business courses.
Daniel Shin, J.D.
Daniel Shin is a cybersecurity researcher at William & Mary Law School, the Coastal Node Commonwealth Cyber Initiative Research Scientist, and the Center for Legal & Court Technology’s Associate Director of Research.
Joey Smith, J.D.
Joey Smith received his DBA (finance) from the University of Florida as well as an LLM in Securities Regulation from Georgetown, an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and a JD from William & Mary. He is a CFA Charterholder and received his undergraduate degree in Mathematical Economics from Hampden-Sydney College.
Mark Watson
Mark Watson is a recognized expert in governance, risk and compliance, with over 30 years of global experience spanning financial services, public policy and corporate advisory roles. He has advised boards, executives and regulators on strengthening oversight, improving risk governance and embedding compliance into organizational strategy and culture.
Reid Whitten, J.D.
Reid Whitten (WM undergrad '02) is the Managing Partner of Sheppard Mullin's London office, practicing in international trade regulations and investigations. He lectures as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the New College of the Humanities in London, at the Université Catholique de Lille, in France, and at Wake Forest University in the U.S.
