As a Visiting Professor of the Practice of Law, Professor Barna brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia before receiving her Juris Doctorate and a Masters in International Politics from American University.

Before joining the Law School, Lindsay honed her skills as an Associate at Sullivan & Worcester LLP, where she litigated on behalf of large corporations and banks in commercial matters and international arbitrations.

As a Fellow, Clinical Instructor and the Assistant Clinical Director at the Law School, Professor Barna championed the rights of survivors of domestic violence, leveraging her legal acumen to advocate for those in need. In addition to her clinic work, she has also taught courses such as Legal Writing and Research.
